Our center is staffed by oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, nurses, technicians and administrators who bring a blend of expertise in cancer care methodologies to maximize each patient care experience. They also work closely with the referring physician to determine the best method of treatment for each patient.

James H. Brashears III, MDRadiation Oncologist James H. Brashears III, MD is the Radiation Oncologist caring for our patients. Dr. Brashears plans and oversees the entire treatment process. His primary focus is providing patients with an environment that is conducive to optimal patient recovery.
Dr. Brashears completed his undergraduate studies at The College of William and Mary: Willamsburg, Virginia. He received his medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine: Durham, North Carolina. Dr. Brashears completed his residency in radiation oncology at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, South Carolina, where he served as Chief Resident of the Department of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Brashears is Board Certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology and has received his Medical License Certifications in four states. Dr. Brashears enjoys travel and has taken part in noble international health studies in developing nations including Africa and Haiti. Among notable projects includes one seeking to bring affordable therapy for cervical cancer to Haitian woman. |
